WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!

Spent half the day laying underneath the wagon with a wire brush removing all the loose dirt and rust from the truck sitting in the previous owners feild for 3 years,

Once im happy with how clean the underneath is ill waxoil and hamerite it :lol:

Removed the manual lockers from the pickup and fitted them to Naked then put the autos on the pickup

I replaced some split/rednecked wires in the loom, complete with fancy conduit, instead of the duct tape that was originally on there! I sorted my reverse switch, changed/soldered on the passengers electric windows buttons in, hoovered the truck, part checked the fuel system for leaks, will finish off tomorrow,

I took the egr valve, inlet cover and inlet butterflys out to get them cleaned.

Working on my power steering leak. :lol:

went scrapy got a rear prop cos my uj is knackered

stuck a new thermostat in, so got some heaters now :thumbup:

Fitted new clutch slave cylinder to Chrissy's beast as the second hand one from e-bay only lasted about 6 month's.

Took Bag'O'Sh*te No.1 for its MOT today............Miserable scrote failed it on a chuffing front indicator bulb! :shock:

It wasn't blown....it just wasn't quite orange enough for him. Replaced it with a spare from the glove and it passed. Another 12 months :dance:

Over the last few days I have serviced it, including diff oils - definitely needed doing.
And fitted my 31x10.5x15 kl71's on.
Apart from looking better I can't notice any difference in driving - the noise under braking doesn't count :lol:

Moved all the cars and pod so I could do this. :lol:

dropped the gearbox off so i can do the rear crank seal . and ended up ordering a new clutch as well - the one thats on is working ok but its worn and i cant be bothered going through all this again in a few months so might as well do it now

just finished swapping uj of lwb split prop onto my shortie one happy days back on the road in the sport but bloody freezin

Fitted the bulldog caravan stabilizer bar mount to the shorty and the other mount to the sleeping pod.

I couldn't afford to buy a mattress so put my airbed in the pod ready for Wales next week.

Well not me, but Trooper has had new balljoints top and bottom and now has 12 month Mot...... :party:

Not what I did to the truck, but what the truck did to me....... Gave me brown trousers, heading on to a multi lane roundabout junction along a stupidly busy A roads intersection, decided to cut out whilst changing down in to fourth, luckily I managed to freewheel/coast across to the over side, think this fronty will be going on eBay! I also gave it an oil/filter change, and a bubble bath,

Replaced all the vacuum pipes today on my fronty.

Don't forget to pack a walking stick rob just Incase :lol:
