I was driving home from work down the motorway and looked in the rear view mirror to see a mass off black smoke!!
Didn't think it was my car then the car lost power!!
Pull over to the hard shoulder and had a bit of a rant to myself as I thought it was something major. Anyway pop the bonnet and saw a massive hole on the intercooler pipe that attaches to the turbo.
Pulled the phone out pocket to call the aa and remembered that I had some gaffer tape in the boot. A bit of red necking later I was driving home.
Just need to ring MB now and see how much a new pipe is going to cost!! :shock:

took mine for mot cos i noticed it had ran out 24th june oops,,,, failed on a list of things so looks like am busy this weekend

What I did on my fronty today?....

.....I kicked it in anger and put a small dent near the petrol cap. Clever!

Had to charge the battery as I left the lights on all day! :oops:

I am going to put fuel in it :shock:

First time I have done that since April :angel:

Then is man cave clean up, its a tip in there :oops:

Once you have cleaned your man cave up do you want to come and do mine :lol:

Started to remove the engine from the 2.5 because some one is interested in the short block and cylinder heads :dance:

Sorted half my arches to get ready to fit my 31"s.

Also sorted out the tracking and snaking at speed by swapping the tyres front to rear sorted it sweetly!! :dance:

Took the truck for a short gravel track run and operated the 4H and 4L to give the associated parts a bit of purpose and lubrication. The auto-hubs engaged and disengaged smoothly and quickly.
The 2H-4H "on-the-fly" worked a treat too, with almost immediate engagement when selected.
