... and got a pass

Another one saved!!!

£200 for the truck and repairs. £35 for the ticket. £130 for the tax. £365 all in. Result.

Lol I thought the 2.8 was slow compared to the 2.5

....but the 2.8 gets you there without a recovery truck andy...and 2 days before the 2.3 arrives... :lol:

You know .. with some silver paint I could change the 2.3 to look like 2.8.

What you mean paint it all silver blurry, to give the impression of speed?

Charged the battery on the 2.8, changed the wheels and tyres over to the Coopers, tweaked the front wheel bearing adjustment, got some diesel and took it for a drive, first time for a long time

So far today I've replaced the front upper ball joints ( yes of course flipped ) only took me an hour to do both :thumbup:

Hopefully my new rear Monroe shocks turn up today then I'll fit them.

Got Dave mot'ed today straight through with no advisories.. Chuffed to fcuk I can tell you

He has been stood for 6 months. Had slight "issues" with a binding handbrake but impact maintenance cured that YAY!!!!!!!

As for me I drove her to work for a test drive. So far so good. Just need to give her a good service and then its manual hubs and 2" suspension lift :twisted:

Got sorted today the rotten fuel hose from inlet to tank and the smaller breather hose.

Take a look at your hoses - in the beginning they are leaking but the drops go into the dirt around the tank shelter...

Inner diameters are 50 mm and 22,5 mm if you wann go shopping asap.

Finally got the new truck mot today and it passed with no advisories

As I have not had a roadworthy truck for sometime now I went laning

god I have missed it!!

Oh yesterday I fitted cruise control and the mpg computer out the v6 and it seams to work spot on

Just need to start modding now ready for morocco in October
