Five weeks, and still looking at it

Got fed-up with falling into the door on roundabouts, so rebuilt the side of the seat cushion

Foam dust everywhere, but after adding some strong sculpted foam, it's like sitting in a new seat!

Replaced the off side rear brake cylinder on the toy because the old one was leaking.

Loaded it up now off to download!!!

Booked Kaz in to have the windscreen changed next Friday morning

ready for the MOT in the afternoon

Today I have replaced the front shocks but I done have any for the back (eBay here I come :lol:

)
Now I've got to pack the car then drive down to Kent :dirty w/end:

Booked it in for its pre-MOT to see what's needed.

For starters a new track rod end will be needed, probably fitting of new brake pads (already purchased).

Keeping fingers crossed but worrying a bit.

Cleaned both the truck's ready for the Festival of Transport at Trentham Gardens tomorrow!!!! :dance:

Had a go in O-no :shock:

I was 'allowed' to drive it to the co-op and back.... :lol:

Removed the steering box steering idler and track rods all in one from the 2.5. In preparation for fitting it on the 2.8 next weekend I'm hoping that will solve the problem when I'm towing.

Took the Frontera for its MoT.
Failed on two brake hose ferrules corroding
and a sticking brake calliper.
For a 14 year old motor I class that as a result!!

Replaced the exhaust tail pipe as I broke the original one on Sunday :lol:

Then I put the heavy duty rear bumper that I made for the discovery on to the 2.8

You should have sold that bumper to Gareth mate....I think he needed one after the weekend, seeing as he left with his original one strapped to his roofrack!!! :lol:

Fixed the darn instrument cluster wo hoo

Well after finding out that i needed a new diff cover i made my owe.
ok i know it could have done with a bit more of a clean up before fitting :lol:

. but it seam to be doing it's job

Cleaned her , washed the out side , started on the rust spots ! Tidied up the DVD wiring and repaired the key fob all in all a productive day !
Now de using on selling up or not :roll:

Went into the boot and got the compressor to blow the guys tyre up next door, then put it back.
Battery was that dead it showed nothing :lol:

Refitted front arb drop links and took truck for mot - all passed ok.

Mind you, truck gave tester a little scare! From last Sunday the near side rear spring wasn't seated properly, luckily the retaining bracket meant it couldn't go anywhere :oops:

So up with the jack and reseated, need to work on another set up me thinks :wink:

Not today but yesterday fitted the viscos fan off my truck to the newbies(North&South) truck as the fan on his missus 2.0ltr had given up the ghost. At least it gave me the kick up the pants I needed to fit the electric fan onto mine. I just got to wire it in now and im up with the big boy's!!! :lol:

MOT for Kaz.

Failed. Not too bad. Just need to give the brakes a once over. New pads, shoes, and drums. Give everything a clean up and that should be job done. Tester was impressed with her condition, and considering I went into the test blind I am not unhappy with the result.
