Washed it and looked at the shocks, might change them later once the mrs goes to bed.

Part 2 sorted out the rear axel breather pipe because the diff oil was leaking from it then filled it up with oil. Whilst I was under the truck find a hole in the middle exhaust box and find one of the rear anti roll bar drop links had snapped.
Whilst I was doing the above Lisa cleaned the inside of the car then we washed it then a quick polish.

I still can't believe how good my tank guard is. I will be giving the underneath a coat of waxoil

Got txt from Chrissy last night to say been allotment got flat front N/S Tyre. Had to drive it home as couldn't leave it down there. Got police escort with blue lights co's she was only doing 2-3 mile an hour. (Only Chrissy could do that!!!)

So i had to get it fixed today, lucky not a lot of damage to the tyre wall. :roll:

Then found her exhaust was blowing so fixed that then moved her CB radio to tidy the truck up a bit. :oh yer:

Walked past the 2.5 on the way to work, then walked past it when i got home :roll:

, thinking it might be time to let her go :cry:

to someone that might actually use her, cos i just dont have the time to at the min and my year only gets busier from now on til the nose dive over Christmas :thumbdown:

Looked to see if the rad weld worked!!!!...... It didn't
So got some stuff the trade use to try free!!!!!
If that fails its strip down and new heater matrix ......Oh deep joy be changing it in the snow too if today is anything to go by

Used it yesterday because the cavalier burst a coolant pipe...on my way back from the shop I drove past a lump of metal in the road that looked like a manual hub...bugger me I thought that's a find...I'll have that, pulled over, ran out to pick it up and started walking back to the truck only to see that the drivers side was missing its manual hub...dammit! Oh well, lucky all 6 bolts were still in the hub so should be a easy fix.

So tomorrow early morning another test drive - then: vacation with the soft top Frontera :dance:

Fitted my replacement power steering pipe , as supplied in less than 24 hrs by Andytats , he being in Essex and me being in Liverpool.

All working and no leaks thanks once again Andy :drink:

removed spare wheel carrier on the shorty and marked the board for the crossmember jig

Made gazeddy remove spare wheel carrier after nearly harpooning myself on it again.

Welded the sunroof up. My welding is getting far better only blew one hole in the roof

Had to do a bit of welding to the new trailer so the shorty would fit :lol:

the shorty is 2 inches wider then the trailer so had to weld an extra 2 inches to one side.

Dove it to work!!!! WoooooooHoooooooo!!!!! Big smile on face!!!! :mrgreen:

changed the air filter
i think i must of had my air box open at the annual some time as it was very very muddy
but now got a nice new one and she does sound happier now

as well i put a new head unit in
was marked down from 240 to 100 and then i got another 20 knocked off to :dance:

so a nice new dab head unit with usb/aux in cd/mp3 player for all of £80

welded a new cross member into the trooper. And enjoyed the Sunshine in Scotland

I did think of that Greg but I wanted the keep the weight to a minimum

Plus its a pain to keep swoping wheels over
