I got a grease gun to grease the nipples, just need To Figure out if There is more Than the one I found!

Ordered some 50mm box, 100mm flat bar and 42mm pipe to make another set of rock/tree sliders

Gave her a mud facial over the weekend:

took it back for round 2 and came out with a pass
so now have an mot :dance:

and i found out the last one was 2007 :roll:

and since then it has done just over 1k miles

put my new side exit exhaust together and on the truck.

Tracked it up as it was abit out, then came home, jacked her up and removed rear diff cover, due to it giving up this morning outside the paper shop. So tomorrows job is take it to work and patch the tw4tt1ng thing up before re-fitting :roll:

Sanded, filled and primered a few little rot spots (on the rear doors) just waiting for the paint to turn up now :thumbup:

today i went over and put the bullbars back on, on my own(really need 2 people for mine)
then welded some rear recovery points on.
put the rear seats in
cut a couple of bars off the bullbars that i didnt like... now looks much better i think
insured it
and now waiting for the docs to be emailed to me so i can tax it

FIXED IT!

Took my poorly diff case to work and gave it a good dose of grinder and welder and then fitted it back on, filled her up and alls well :dance:

While i was on my arse i changed the oil as i had some, and now im ready to go laning in the lakes tomorow

and this afternoon

drove it home :dance:

Changed the oil on the 2.8, new pads on the front and greased the wheel brgs and adjusted them back up

Developed a funny rumbley noise suspect clutch or flywheel is on the way out

Managed to get hold of all the rare parts for my truck

taken ages but definatly worth it!

As for me:
New lower ball joints.
New upper ball joints.
Upper ball joints flipped under top wishbones.
New steering idler.

Net result:
No more clunking going round corners.
No more clunking going over potholes and bumps.
No more dodgy camber on front wheels.
No more pulling to the left.

Job well done.

i compiled a list of spares that i need to get for my truck,
aux belt, clutch master cylinder, rocker cover gasket, possible new injector (or im hoping just a new seal)
newtyres x4, nudge bar (but sourced one), number 1 injector sensor (again already sourced one)

i did today manage to get under her and grease her nipples, :shifty:

and cleaned all locking hubs, and replaced the spring that snapped on the bonnet release catch,

I started mine for the first time since 1st March. 3 turns of the engine, and she fired up no problems. I is a happy chappy. :lol:

Seen that soft top put me in mood for a swb again i miss the roof off in the summer but that just look amazing

well yesterday i set to work on starting to mod...

so bucket seat in
1 pair of 8" spots fitter, need another i think..
black rear body lights
waffle boards fitted
rear speakers fitted
monroe rear shocks fitted
tyres pumped up

and that is about it for the mo

Gave the shorty a coat of matt black paint £1 rattle cans :lol:

I really hated the Lilac colour. I did wipe the mud off where I was painting :lol:
