And today i fixed the sump leak on the 2.3 but now it wont start? The glowplug light keeps flashing and theres no fuel to the rail, it has the option immob on it and it looks like its cut the fuel pump :oh yer:

Will investigate further another day if i can be arsed, was driving brill until the batt went flat......... :roll:

Washed,polished and cleaned the inside for Crail,Fife tomorrow.

today i started on mine
and removed the soft top and put a hard top on (now listed on ebay)
changed the flexi fuel line and filter
changed the air filter
changed power steering pump and bleed the steering.
fulled it up and added a engine cleaning fuel additive
chccked the front wheel bearings
cut out the rust in the sill ready to be welded
droped off the bull bars (for mot)
fitted some side repeaters

and loads to do tomorrow

Steam cleaned the engine bay and jet washed the outside of the bighorn.

Did the wiring on the trooper kinda got lost in the 3.1 loom and 2.6 loom still not got ignition lights

this morning me and the wife went to do some work on my new one...
she wire brushed and under coated some of the back. and it now looks like new
i made a new piece for the sil ready to weld in now :dance:

changed the spark plugs and that made a difference and ordered new ht leads and dissy cap.
checked the ball joints and cv boots...
drivers side was fine.
passender was shot, so ordered 4 new ball joints and 4 new cv boots
checked the brake lines and they are like new so i am happy.
and took it for a quick run down to the road and back from where i am storing it (1/2 mile).

so less and more still to do. and carnt wait to get it on the road :axe:

cleaned every connector under the bonnet, cleaned all the door switches, washed and polished the truck inside and out, tested the glow plugs and glow plug relay, and finally i kicked the tyre in frustration! all in all a day full of good intentions

Washed it, well had it washed for me by the nice men up the road from me

who do a smshing job for £7.00

Changed all bar three or four vac pipes as i ran out of pipe, ordered some more. Drilled out nudge bar mountings for the D Shackles.

Today I put a couple of dents in the shorty :lol:

Plus Lisa drove it straight into a tree and put a dent in the offside front wing. :rotfl:

I washed it after a short bit of laning on the way home Saturday afternoon...was wetter than I thought but it never flinched. I then washed my gran's car because it was looking dirty next to the truck

Finally got round to changing the osr caliper that was seized solid. Now I can take my foot off the loud pedal and it doesn't grind to a halt lol.

Then I did all the repairs to the caravan that needed doing after letting the kids and their mates stay in it. Never again grrrr

Fitted new blue LED side lights in the LWB and did abit of lubing, also put the D-links on as slowly preparing it for the lakes.
Removed the leaky fuel pipes of the SWB and removed the rusty tank gaurd, cut the bad bits out and put it in the LWB to take to work tomorow for abit of shiney steel to be added

Not done anything yet but I will be try to sort out the engine on the disco because its still topping out at 2900rpm. so if any want to pop over to give me a hand :lol:
