Well just fuelled, went expecting to put £100+ in but it only cost £87, there must be a fair whack in the tank when it reaches the red

First drive for a couple of weeks, noticed a fault so off to the electrical section I go :lol:

looked at it and cried again, 2 tonnes of scrap sitting there looking sorry for itself

O'S sill welded up and painted, polybush arb bushes fitted, o's inner cv boot replaced and manual locking hubs fitted

ready to roll again

Took mine in to get the manifold / exhaust sorted once and for all, hopefully it won't sound like a tank anymore :thumbup:

Took engine out of one and then took engine out of other......

Got the bighorn MOT`d guy was impressed with the condition an the What it is in general said he had saw it drive about an had seen a picture of one on ebay but had never actually saw one in the flesh.

Means now i can carry on with the trooper engine swap

Just driving about/work today, but Saturday enjoyed the FOG convoy sightseeing around Norwich on Saturday helping RatCav move* then yesterday was quietly productive with fudge - got my bullbars remounted, ball and pin tow hitch fitted and drained the cooling system to put some antifreeze in ready for winter!

Only downside was finding return feed from air intake system to expansion bottle is blocked - another job for the to do list :roll:

But now I need to wash it so I can let the bars shine without showing the rest of the truck up!

I got a puncture repaired, and the good tyre that was on a steel rim was put onto one of the spare alloys I had. Now I have a matching set of alloys.

I also had the tracking checked whilst I was there, as the truck seems to wander a bit (maybe it's just me not used to driving a 4x4 now :oops:

) and they said it was fine. So...I'm gonna have to check and if necessary, adjust the steering box, but as I have to go to work, I guess it will have to wait for another day. All in, cost me £20. Not bad.

Over the weekend i put a small body lift on the truck :roll:

and changed the steering rack - never doing that again!!
Ill stick a pic up of the lift once i have finished the bumpers :thumbup:

Gave mine a service, oil filter, air filter,fuel filter and oil change,, also front off side wheel bearing.

Wheel bearing was driving me nuts :lol:

Was wondering why it was as heavy on fuel and was a bit slow, front nearside brake caliper seized, offside rear caliper seized,

As you can imagine it runs a bit better, hopefully fuel consuption will be a bit better.

Only got about 255 miles to a tank.
