WHAT YOU DID TO YOUR TRUCK TODAY!

Did a quick roadside repair of the alternator output wire because it had broken off and caused the lights to dim when I accelerated. Lucky I had the crimp set in the truck really lol

LIfted the little Sport by 2 inches ably assisted by Dave - Cheers bud.

Then took it home and fitted some 100w bulbs in the spots. I also removed the reverse light switch and dug out the plastic sealant in the end and re-soldered the connections. Now have reverse lights again :thumbup:

I started to fit an additional lamp to the rear bumper to act as a reverse lamp , but lack of light today stopped me :problem:

Still not convinced I have 4WD, so it's going airborne tomorrow so I can check I have drive to all 4 wheels. :thumbup:

Moved yet more stuff to the new house yesterday. House is practically empty, only a few bits to go. Should nail them on the head today. All couriered via Trooper power.

Monday/Tuesday is the beginning of the garage

Not looking forward to that. Hopefully will get the lions share done ready for the big awkward bits next weekend.

That lifted B series looks fantastic I hope the owner liked it.
I replaced the brake pads all round on my B series, fitted new cv boots on both sides and replaced a few bulbs and fitted a new heater matrix from demisterman and a Speedo from a salvaged truck while I was at it because my original was dead.
This has taken a few days but today it sailed through it's Mot and is now legal for another year, not to mention it is also finally fault free. :-)

Tidied up some wiring but ran out of connectors, will complete the job tomorrow, 30mins should do it.

Forgot to fix the panel on the passenger footwell, forgot to clean it out, forgot to fuel it up, for got to see if it will actually start :oops:

Ian, there is a lot I would forget if it was not attached or in a bag :shock:

Reattached my tow bar and electrics, removed the subs (again) and dropped the back seats.

Thats some crazy perspective there Rob ... that ickkle A series SWB looks HUGE compared to the lardy B series LWB!!!

As for me nothing on the truck ... ziltch ... nada ... I just drove it for the first time in 10 days without a mountain of stuff from moving house in the back.

Mind that will change tomorrow when we do the last few bits and pieces from the old garage to the new workshop with the power of FOG and ITOC.
