Just jump started mine

Hi,

searched for the failure of the left seat. It moved a bit forward while braking - this drove the Mrs crazy!
I did not realize that - a question of body-weight...

As it didn't slide forward by pulling the back I thought this was only on the right side possible :crazy:

So put all the covers to the side, compared both seat rails and the mechanism - no difference at all apart from moving when fixed and not moving when released...

Before replacing the whole seat I tried WD40 in a drowning dose and then this impression appeared:

Something seems to have stuck there for ages - now it is rusted away / gone.
And the seat moves as it should. And is fixed in the driving position. I assume, it has never been before... :oops:

Fitted some 30mm spacers on mine :dance:

Not loaded on comp yet, playing on phone. It just 'corrects' the offset so they sit like a set of a series rims would on a B.

put a new starter motor on her the other day and she fired up like a beast but it was p!ssing petrol out of the hose coming out of the petrol tank (must have perished) and I cant figure out how to get the tank off at the mo :roll:

looks like the filler neck needs to come out.

Mines doing the same mate and starving itself of oil, service required i think :think:

Done some welding on the arches getting it ready for a MOT

sold it by the looks of it

Drove mine to a local garage to see what the problem is with the rear diff and hopefully it is not major. :cry:

Done nothing with mine for about a week am going to give him a run tomorrow to pick up some logs.

Finally emptied all my tools out of the back. :oops:

It's nice looking through the rear window and seeing a cow instead of boxes :lol:

Changed the engine oil and filter. Changed the clutch fluid, put in some injector cleaner and fitted some new wipers

done more welding this time on drivers rear arch, that both rear arches rebuilt . Also my oil catcher arrived today that will get fitted tomorrow.

Just discovered driver rear caliper has been siezed for looks a while the disc has rust on it i have spare new ones i got for a tenner but might try see if can free off the caliper first

And to stop the glare from the roof lights I took off the rear spoiler thing from the 2.5 frontera then cut it down abit by 6 inches or so then bolted it to the light bar which I thought was a good idea ( plus its got our website address on it )

Now all my tools are in the house i put my subs back in the boot :v happy:

Finally got around to fitting the CB, properly plump and wire up the boost gauge and also wired up the light for the inclimeter

Dash now looks like a x-mas tress at night lol

Ill tuck the wiring away when its light outside. Just need to check the SWR and the CBs g2g

Finally got round to removing some useless bits of metal bolted to my engine.
The EGR's and pipe are gone and the blanking plates are on.
