I got the foam that is wedged in the rear jack/wheelbrace cubby and cut a square piece out the same size as the glovebox thing and then cut a cup shaped hole out of the middle so that it supports the cup properly and doesn't rattle. It also grips the cup nicely so that when I've got it on some angles the bloody thing doesnt fall out :thumbup:

Behold...a perfectionist bodger :lol:

And of course the foam can soak up spillages, keeping the contained Shakey albums dryer than a really dry thing in a dry place on a dry day....

well
yesterday i went to the merc main steelers and a service there wasnt too much more than a service anywhere else
and i did get quoted more from some places :evil:

so complete service done and goten rid of the little spanner that appared
but now found out i need some new tyres :oh yer:

so now got to hunt for some 225/45 r17's now
