Took mine for the MOT today.
It isn't actually due till 27th December, but I don't like having them near Christmas.
Tester spotted a small patch of rust (1" square ish hole.)on OSR sill, but was gonna pass it. Then the very last thing he tested, failed. Wheel bearing.
So they are going to do the welding as well as the bearing.

Also, I finally got myself an ISO lead extension so I could switch the live feed and switched feed around for the stereo, and an iso aerial adapter. So now, not only do I have radio, the stereo no longer looses its memory.

lifted the bonnet checked oil and water looked all round the body work had a look underneath all in good nick for a nearly 20 year old truck, so i am keeping it, likes a bit of petrol but i can live with that for now

started the new 2.8 and she purred like a kitten

And the most shocking thing of all the heater works and gets hot :shock:

Its toasty :shock:

I am having the final attack on mine tomorrow (before admitting matrix failure) :oops:

i would just get the thermoles out ready for the cold winter as you no it work :butt:

And dont forget the deicer for inside the truck :lol:

Picked up a Shorty 2.0 Coiler. Mot till next August, tidy little tub - £300 :thumbup:

I have had this truck over 6 years and the last two years the heaters are crap, I scrape the ice from inside the window then turn on the demisters and to everyone outside I look like I am sitting in a snow globe :oops:

When you stop night before let the warm air out before locking up this helps the ice forming on inside.

I got an engine lift today so the swb will be getting the first stage of engine conversion next few days

Yokos are on, heater matrix on order lol! Seems to be alot of it going about at the moment! :chilly:

New heater motor fitted, flushed the system as well but yup the matrix is goosed as cant get heat through.
Also oil and filter change and checked all breather pipes an head breather are clear and working.

And all this with a whisky hangover from hell :sick:

2.0 Sport Coiler

Fixed inoperative rear light
Bled the clutch (numerous times)
Put two litres of oil in it
Check g'box oil level
Checked rear diff level
Popped both front hubs off to check circlips
Tightened all 6 wheelnuts on O/S/F wheel that were half way off the studs :crazy:
