Not to 1of the the frontys but to the spare engine i have for the 2.5vm, Finally got round to fitting a full manual injection pump to it and after a lot of swearing and scratching of the old head she lives and seams to run and rev quite well. just have to change the rear oil seal then get it fitted to see how well it goes.

Picked up my honda civic after having £2500 worth of body work done

Then took my pug for an mot and it passed without any advisories

Now painted blue and fitted just need to buy a winch for it :lol:

Fitted new ball joints today and found out that one of my track rods was bent.

I've just fitted the new rear brakes. Now have the currect calipers on the currect sides. New disks, pads and shoes. But I need a new drivers side handbrake cable because the casing has split and the cable has sciezed up :/ tomorrow I'll change the diff oil, on that note...ep80w90 gl5 is the right stuff isn't it?

I tested the winch for the 1st time today by dragging my brothers golf down the road with its hand brake fully on. Did it no problems

it even did a little curtsey lol (front dipped down)

today i finished getting the tools out of it
and kelly hovered it inside

then just watch it drive away to a new place

Well today I wired up the 4 roof lights and the two driving lights on the winch bumper.
Plus Modified the rear bumper by cutting about 7 inches off each end then welded the ends up and adding small Indicators into the bumper.

Fixed my rear light which must have received a bit of a jolt in the Peaks yesterday :thumbup:

Fixed my ABS warning light :thumbup:

get your wellies and brollies out ladies and gents! my truck now has the rainmaker soft top fitted :twisted:

Yesterday renewed a fuel pipe on a 2.8 LWB. Why is it the fuel feed was in perfect condition but the return was as rusty as a Alpha Romeo by the seaside???? :lol:

Saturday morning got up bright and early to fix the Passat. Coolant temp sensor. Bleeding awkward to get to at the back of the cylinder head up against the bulkhead. Had to remove the airbox and associated pipework to get to it. Slapped in a eblag special. Now the gauge works, the ECU doesn't get confused and make the radiator fan run at full tilt all the time, and cleared the fault code via some free software and an eblag cable on the laptop. Happy days.

Passed it's MOT :shock:

The Hulk now has no ABS light, ok so this wasnt today but Friday when i collected from its MOT, they had cleared the fault codes after the Trooper rings went on.. :party:

Now time to go AT/MT hunting... and order a set of front arb bushes from milners as i have been very impressed with the rears!

Went for a little drive over to Telford and picked me up a hi-lift jack

Now to fit some jacking points :oh yer:

Came home from Devon to find the nearside front flat tyre as a pancake. Got 25 psi into it to it took it my freindly tyre fitters who took it off checked it resealed it and fitted a new valve. All good to go for £10.00
