Well i was up at 6 this morning to head up the slopes to go boarding and got some photo's. Unfortunately we got as far as Braemar and the snow gates were closed due to 5ft drifts on the road (waiting for a joke here ;) :P ) Waited for a while but it became clear they weren't going to clear the road as the wind would have just filled it back in again so we just had to head home. Took a while to get there as well as we were doing 30/40 miles an hour cos the roads were so bad.

So we tried to bury my mate in the snow :)

You can just see how much snow was sitting on the cars in the centre of Braemar, defo over half a metre!

Years since I stayed in Braemar at the youth hostel and yes it was snowing like that :shock: and we had walked from Avimore :oops: two days it took :lol:
