Had to remove headlining so i could re-attach the material covering near the screen...pain in the ass but managed to sort that out as well

took front bumper off to check for rust on front of fronty
not really any bad rust

cleaned it all down
rust treated it
then a coat of hamerite
now good for a few more years :dance:

Well i got up at 6:30am today, swopped my wheels back over to the ats as the muds wernt sealed properly around the alloys so kept going down, so there off to the garage to be rectified tomorow, so ive got them for next satdy :dance:

. Then at 8am i drove to Donny to collect a very nice bonnet in the same colour as my new truck for free!! :clap:

! So i got that fitted when i got back from watching Harrison score 4 goals at football

, so the trucks looking better now, i then removed the rear bumpers cos i dont like them either, so if anyone is after a pair, their in good nick and have been painted in thick black paint....and then i hard wired in a compressor so the tyres can be inflated if they go down again!! :evil:

Next jobs are.....modified rear bumper with recovery points
..modify front bumper to make a more winch like affair
..have a play with the roof rack just to tidy it up abit

Yesterday i managed to wire in Chrissy's new LED running lights. Thought they looked ok, then we went to do the horses this morning at 6 o'clock and saw them in the dark and wow there very bright. I took a feed direct from the ignition so they come on straight away.

replaced the anti tamper bolts out of the steering column
they had fell out :lol:

Fitted RetroPedro's alternator he's now sold to me woohoo! And it works a treat. Thank god because it took 3 battery's to get from the woods back home via Cambridge. And tomorrow I'm picking up a O/S/R brake caliper from andytats so the rear brakes are good n proper again :/. Then next weekend I'll hopefully get to change the diff oils. Oh joy!

Dan while you change the calliper on the offside, you might do better putting the one we fitted at the weekend on the nearside, as yours was reluctant to move when you fitted some of my recon brake pads :roll:

Realised the bearings in the power steering idler and power steering pump are finally giving up the ghost. Time for new ones me thinks as I am getting some very loud rattley grindy noises from both of them

@Greg the nearside was silky with the water pump plyers nothing wrong with that one...just the offside that was naff so ill just keep that one as a spare

Got the fuel leak fixed again. (5th time)

After washing the clap out of my alternator i refitted it this faternoon and all seems well.

Also finally got round to fitting my Hi Lift to the roofrack where it belongs..
