fitted a new thermostat complete with new housing ( you gota love ebay) alls well & drip free & i will have heat again when required :wink:

Changed the steering idler on the 2.8. Couldn't believe how easy they are to do. also got to use may new ball joint splitters

they are so easy to use even used the biggest one to remove the idler arm

Finally got round to sorting out the interior lights. Neither of them worked at all. Pulled them off and gave everything a good clean. Re-soldered a couple of dodgy contacts and put it them both back in with new bulbs (that was a steal from Halfrauds. £4.98 for two bulbs ... Trade card dropped it to £0.98 :shock:

) and now everything works ... even the door switches that turn them on when you open the doors or boot. All I have to do is source a new lens cover for the rear one in the boot and that is another job jobbed.

I also got myself a replacement rear badge seeing as the last ones ended up as tattered strips after Greg took them off when the re-spray was done. Now people know its an Isuzu when they are following me

Finished making my rock sliders and attaching them to the car

fitted a pair of second hand wings and grill in colour {lucky} and indicator mine where lookin a bit dented and scratched £40 at st helens scrappy ,had a few in and izusu,s

Actually managed to get offroad today in the truck..well on the beach at the Southport Air Show :lol:

Removed the side steps off my fronty, using a air hammer to shake the rust off and free the bolts up.

Swopped insurance over to lwb and got money back!! :shock:

I know its a 2.2 but so far its not doing anthing wrong :dance:

Tightened the steering box a little, still needs a bit more on it tho. And I also tested the raised air intake. Next to the header tank doesn't work as the inside of the air box was 1 of the wettest places under the bonnet going through a ford. The water just lapped over the vx badge on the bonnet.

Saturday - took the new Sport down some serious off-road tracks (Comp Safari/Baja) and was pleasantly surprised on how well it handled the terrain with standsrd suspension, although on 31" MT's - did rip of one of the towing sockets thuough, so removong the tow bar will probably be the next modification.

Sunday - added sand to the mud on the Sport with a trip onto Southport beach. Assisted by Drift, we jump-started two other Vauxhalls.

got round to fitting the new rear shocks that i got off Mark (MG AUTOS) to the 2.8

Went to newcastle yesterday to tow a astra to just outside Hamilton Scotland

Taxed it! so ready to start playing now :thumbup:

Experienced that sinking realisation again that there's more fuel in my jerry can than in my tank tonight whilst towing the caravan back to storage. Somehow managed to get all the way home though without running out - who knew Frontera's were able to run on 3 cylinders so well (only in a 2.0l petrol tho!) :v happy:

One day, I will get that fuel sender sensor changed - reads about 1/4 tank when actually empty! :oops:

I sense a spanner party on the horizon...

I always refill to the top when I get to 1/4 tank. Never seen the point in running to the fumes and only putting in a fiver. Your going to need it in the long run so spend less time at the pump.
