changed my old rotton bumper with 1 off a b series was a bit fiddly but got there just need to find something to fill the middle in where the grill would be ill figure something out or im all ears for suggestions

especially after driving I think it was a 4.2 straight 6 turbo diesel version of it a few years ago!! man they are beasts!!

I was going to buy a set of wheel arches for the Landy then I had an idea will the frontera ones fit so I took of one of the front arches to measure it against the landys front wing with a little bit of playing it will fit.
So out come my friend the angle grinder lol to cut 1 and a half inches of the wing all the way around the arch.
I'm very happy with the result a land rover with frontera wheel arches at the front I've just got to work out a way of fitting the rear one now.

Well thats one bit on the disco that wont break at least! :lol:

Drove to work came home and parked her up as i will be not driving for a while. Hand opperation today so wont be able to do much.

changed front and rear diff oils, also gear and transfer box oils' they were all done 30.000 miles ago' yet gear oils were rotten :sick:

Washed and polished the Landy as I will be using it as a wedding car tomorrow lol taking my daughter-inlaw to the her wedding.

I suppose its traditional for the Bride to turn up last ... though risking not turning up at all is brave

well today i found it but yesterday i started to get conserened :oops:

well last night i noticed that my car was leaking water (coolant)
and tried to find the source and couldn't. :think:

been keeping an eye on it and today it needed about 2l's of topping up so i did go full out hunting for the reason.
and i found it. :dance:

my water pump is leaking, so tomorrow i will be changing that.
other than that i have developed a nice squeal on my drivers side front wheel, this stopes when i put light pressure on the brakes.
so will be looking into that tomorrow (and have allready checked it is not the wheel bearings) :roll:

Washed the new lilac 2.8shorty as it was minging and I couldnt see out the windows! :lol:

and replenished my tyre mountain which made me all happy again!

Just managed to fit the +3" springs to the troop before the heavens opened :roll:

You really do need to use a finishing glaze so you dont get the swirl marks though :wink:

Brown bros do a half reasonable one for a good price too :wink:
