Washed her in readiness for the Trooper Owners Club annual this weekend.

today i mostly changed 4 wheels that looked like this by givin them a bath in neat wheel acid and then a coat of ally refurb paint

into a set of wheels that looked like this

FINALLY got the new (to me) axle off Angleina yesterday...Only taken me since the annual lol.

This afternoon was ment to be when I took my naffed one off and fitted the good one on....but Im in one of them moods where you just cant find the will power to do anything fun let along fix the truck with mud dust contantly falling on your face and into your ears.....so in 1 and a half hours all I got done was slacken off the drop link bolts, lower shock bolts, the chassis end of the pan hard bar and undid 1 side of the anti roll bar lol.

All in all a pretty shoddy attempt...but meh lol I just cba today. All im guna do it go for the the 3 S's in the bathroom and have a early night

fitted the new banjo bolts ( £2.40 each from ebay ) to Bob the fronty its only taken me 6 days now to do the head gasket. lol
I just hope to new head gasket solves the problem of oil in the water.Well Bob is all up and running had a little test drive
and it all seems ok still has a small amount of oil in the water but that may just be remnants from the water channel. so i will get the engine warm then flash it all out again tomorrow

That's only taken about a year to do.

Washers tomorrow, and I might even order the new wheel bearing needed to pass the MOT in August :shock:

Nothing for a week might even take it to work tomorrow just to give it a run out.

Today i have won a c20seh engine for £58 :dance:

Now do i strip it and referb it and paint it for a project or just shove it in :crazy:

Today I used my LWB to tow a trailer down to Brighton for a friends charity camp it went a lot quicker on the way home empty :thumbup:

Went down the clyde to Helensburgh to collect a flight case £25 had choice of small, meduim and large i took large

fitted parrot car kit only to break the micromaphone so i can hear it but it cant hear me :evil:

Sold the coiler i did strata in :cry:

I took the tow bar off the swb and fitted it to the lwb now my bumper wont fit cause the the the plate for tow bar at each side has acted like a spacer gonna have to fab something
