changed a track rod end and checked the timing belt to find its a tooth out :evil:

and now reset it back to how it should be

Fitted replacement brake servo as i popped it at the annual and had to drive back up the M1 on the handbrake! :oops:

I washed the bighorn an bought a new oil filter and oil just need to get round to fitting it got too much too do

No central locking on rear door (for months haha), so,

Removed the rubber conduit from rear door to main shell to find a broken wire

...after a quick solder and insulation tape repair, bingo - rear central locking back to life

Put him on charge, it's not looking good

From 2:30 this afternoon until 9:15 tonight I was striping the cylinder head's off Bob. About 3 hours of that was trying to undo two bolts from the exhaust manifold in the end I had to remove the turbo. Whilst I was at it I removed the starter motor I have a new one to fit. Then started cleaning up the cylinder head's and water pipes.
Tomorrow I will be putting all back together I just hope it sort's out the oil in water.

after taking a run over and meeting Ian and his good wife in there 2.8 on the long drive north to drop off fudges alternators off rob, i went on a killing spree down a country lane as by the time i got back i had half of Nottinghams insects plastered over the truck so had to give it a was as couldn't safely see out of the window and then decided that after a year i would finally wash the last of the pit sludge from the engine bay

I accidentally cleaned the wing mirror by brushing past it this afternoon on the way to the pub :thumbup:

Removed the roof etc and went for a COOL drive!!!!!

changed the oil an had to buy a new filter the one i got for a 2.8 the thread was narrower got one that was for a 3.1 . Fixed oil leak

PS just jet washed the big bits of mud off while fueling up at Tesco. They do say you can get anything at Tesco's, well now you can also get mud, cause I left mine there.
