Just had a look at my exhaust and the down pipe out the turbo has broken away from the flange

great!

dean yes box had A coiler alloys on his dti and it set the wheels out a bit

Gaz, they are the same offset, only the early A series leafers had a bigger offset as they had shorter axles

Fetched a 3 piece suite in it (well 3 trips )

i stand corrected then. but i drove mine this clutch is going to take some getting used to

ill take some pics before and after and then we can see if it makes some any difference if the rain holds out in the morning

spoke to a guy called mark from near the forest of dean rang me up over some spares for his lpg v6 had never heard of the site so told him to sign up not seen him yet. on here but still another fronty owner now informed of FOG as sent him the links to come and have a look about

yesterday..as it's only 6.10am...I aint that nuts..

Re-placed my duff steering idler..new one cost £45 a little more than milners, but a lot cheaper than steelers..came with a grease nipple for future repacking..

had a fight with the idler arm..in the lashing rain...hitting it with a couple of hammers for nearly an hour, broke yet another ball joint splitter..then the lights came on, what have I got in the shed?....

that's right a three legged puller...from digging it out of the shed to parting the idler 12mins...made quite a loud bang when it went..did I mention it lashed with rain all frickin day, only stopped at 7pm

booking MOT retest for this afternoon (or tomorrow morning) just need to tighten up idler arm bolt when i get in..

gave my baby a wash and then fitted these puppies

from 245-70-r16s to 255-65-r16s and they are the same size magic

found a new way to jack car up

cheating i know but lot quicker

now i have a boot free of tools i got my lift back lol

my shiney baby all nice and clean for today anyway lol

nothing to the truck but towed a vectra back from whitchurch to hednesford.

renewed the clutch fluid yesterday then today i was driving around the town when it started to over heat

so got it home checked the radiator the top half was very hot and the bottom was cold. so took the radiator out to unblock it run the hose pipe in the top hole no water come out the bottom so i filled it with petrol to remove the oil from inside the radiator it worked a treat. all up and running fine again until next time :lol:

yes i did say oil in the radiator i need to do the head gasket soon :lol:

i have the gaskets but no time to do it.

You washed it out with petrol! :shock:

they fit they look nice and they will do till i get the other one refurbed that i chewed up in the pit when i sank the the beast and lost the hub cap to a INSIGNUM drivers door and wing roman chariot stylely and new tyre on before putting back on with some winter tires lol( Big Feckin Chunky ones if i have my way lol)

passed light issue, thanks to tool box and trolley jack..passed number plates...passed on steering idler..but failed emmission test, too high on o2 test..lambda ok..going to get new plugs, leads,air filter, chuck some injection cleaner in, and give it an oil change..don't think it is the cat as this was new for last test..

anyone else think of a way to get the o2 level down..i'm thinking that it's not burning all it's fuel properly..

I have a spare set of injectors but i'm not sure how good they are, is there a way of cleaning them redneck stylee..i.e not sending them off to be done proper...i'm thinking soak in redex or viniger sort of method..

honda civic is looking more like the jontera avalance vehicle..plus side the mrs got me a new tent and a new sleeping roll..think she wants me out of the way, regardless of if i'm in a fronty or not..
