took a run over to Boston then Sutton on sea then back to Nottingham 178miles on country roads lol

seen a t reg black SWB plastered with stickers on the lincoln bypass giving it some lol

Finally swapped to the mud tyres, then found a leak where water was pooling in the footwell traded it to the screen, resealed it and hope thats that.
Then decided to get the screw in the wing, its that impossible one that you need to go through the drivers side footwell and most people dont replace after taking the wing off, well I thought the wing was flexing a bit much without it in so I got that nasty little bolt back in after a bit of head scratching :dance:

I then drove it for the first time in a couple of weeks :thumbup:

Fitted a turbo gauge thing and replaced the reasonably minging air filter... and it rained. Tomorrows little games include yet another oil n filter change (joys of 2.8 ownership :lol:

) At least I'll stay dryish if it rains again as I will be under the truck :thumbup:

today is time to finish all the jobs i started yesterday

I looked at mine through the square window and watched the rain wash the remains of the Strata mud off :thumbdown:

It ran really well on the way home last weekend after jet washing the wheels and brakes, so I don't really want to do much to it before the annual, if it ain't broke don't fix it :thumbup:

My son just bought me a nice surprised some 16s with tyres

now all you need is some nice mud tyres for them

today i cleared the crap out of my boot and started to get it ready for next weekend
then fogman pop over so we went out for a little drive

and last night i tested out my LED flood light
from pitch black to this :dance:

ive Goodyear grand-trek on the front of the others with less than a 2000 miles on and wranglers on the back just a low on tread on the back from spinning them to much lol

so going to swap and change to get the best of these and the leave the dunlops on the front as going to wait for the rain to stop and see what these look like on mine before i swap the grandtrek's over

daft question is the off set any different on these other alloys as just wondered if they stick out any more as they are off a series :?:

They are 6j I think, but they are the same as your standard alloys for your model so they will sit the same as they are from a late A series with the same width axles.

The exhaust broke some were in the engine bay last night

gives it some amazing Turbo whistle and a real throaty roar but can't be good running with zero back pressure because I'm sure its broke before the cat. And next to nothing comming out the tale pipe

On the upside...I bet I now have the fasted dti around

it really shifts now lol
