Had to put a new exhaust on from the cat back as old one fell of today :roll:

£127 lighter in the back pocket

removed the spare wheel arm with a hacksaw and hammer.

Loaded it up for yet another tip run :shock:

Shocking at how much crap you can accumulate over 2 years :roll:

Old fuel filter out, new one in, system bled through and truck started. 5 mins. OiC HF took longer making the brews lol

I drove it :shock:

First time in about three weeks............Jeezze it felt good and felt nippier than I remember :dance:

Went out to pick up some wine, when I got back the Mrs said "I thought you had taken the truck, I heard a beefy sounding tractor pass the back of the garden" ...result :thumbup:

Anyway, the wine :drink:

fitted the new bluetooth stereo in it today and also the CB and magmount

I must be losing the touch....

CB's in, all hard wired incl the antenna and I've even fitted another speaker (ex nokia phone kit jobby). It even turns on :shock:

and what do I get? A speaker full of breaker breaker or a load of mush.......

Aye, you guessed it, a load of mush lol

Me thinks I need to a. re-check the earth at the antenna base and b. get hold of a SWR meter thing and do a bit of tuning!

And no, the stick bit does NOT short to the body. Been there, done that on a VRC 321 when my ex mate started slammin morse out at 20wpm as I was sticking the whip in the mount. I made the circuit :shock:

Removed all the CB equipment and replaced with all new gear.
Just need to get the SWR sorted now

i am running kumho kl71's (there muds or what ever it's called)
and i get very little road noise and good all round grip, as they arent quite an all out mud tyre, as they are 60 offroad/40 onroad

went see fishing over the weekend and gave my truck a run up and down the beach as was taking my disabled father in law with me and had a great time caught a few fish and had a race with the a life guard in his new hilux and beat him hands down had a good laugh with him as he ran me back down to where we where fishing after i parked my truck near his hut for safe keeping while we where fishing

nice place and sea bass for tea tomorrow

seen shed load of frontys on the roads of lincolnshire A and B series waved but right bunch of miserable beggars as no one waved back
