Bad fronty owners!

Cleaned up the 2.5tds LWB ready for it to go up for sale...done about 500 miles of fault free mileage in it, so I am now confident to sell it on as it runs a treat and now has a full years test on it.

Got it half ready, then got side tracked into doing other stuff...looks I might be painting a bodykitted mini next weekend...will have to blindfold myself so I dont puke into my respirator, as its awful...such a shame to a nice little car. But with some blue pearl paint and metalflake, and white roof metalflaked it should look blingy as well as horrid.

Oh and got myself a cooler for in the truck, runs on 12v,240v or gas...

Got the truck retested as it failed its mot on friday on 2 cv rubbers and a front drop link. All sorted now

Finally changed my prop UJ's, drivers window mechanism and had my exhaust welded back together. So now I can open my window without gassing myself

Problem is the new UJ's have quietened the rumble from under the car but its still there. Big suspension lifts on the 2.8SWB needs more thought. So going to try drop the gearbox cross member by a bit tomorrow to try lessen the angle

Well done Rob...see if you can find me a top link to play with...reckon that would sort it proper with a slight drop of the back of the box :wink:

after bearing my air con pump in clay silt it has been grinding grumbling and generally sounding like a cement mixer for over a year and today i fixed the problem! i finally reverted my frontera 3.2 v6 back to silent running.

I swapped the fan belt out for a shorter non air conditioning one and put a post it note above the air con button saying see window.
