Its started!! My new one has gone into surgery for the first round today at my mates garage so the diff should be on in time for STRATA!! :dance:

Found one of the new tyres had gone soft - I have now had the alloy wheel bead wire brushed and liquid rubber compound applied - tyre refitted and leak test looks good so far.

Nice one Ian be nice to see it!

Turned the engine over today for the first time in a week, started first go, so all fine to sit another week :thumbup:

Goin out to start tidying up the leafer when the sky mans been so i can put it up for sale after strata....

Picked this up at a scrappy today for £20

Even has convenient spot light mounts.

Just fitted my new steering idler, for once the job went as should with hickups what so ever.

Just replaced the trailer sockets, boy were they bad, full of mud and corroded silly. Should go a long way to sorting the disco lights on the caravan lol

time for an oil change new filter and some seal conditioner to go in i think while there is still day light

thats better oil change and filter done forte seal conditioner in and now just wait to see what happens hopefully sole the problem now just need to sort out a non air con fan belt till i can be bother to fixed the bearings in the clutch in that lol

Had a new bumper fitted
And dropped Jim (Wilberforce) off to pick something up.

Carried on with stripping rear axle ready to replace with another one, all this due to pinion seal leaking and cant get another one....so went for an intermediate fix.

When axle off i will then get a seal sorted one way or the other.

Anyway found out the hard way that the leaf spring dont half go "twang" when you release the U bolts, had a jack underneath supporting but for some unknown reason i thought it was in the way....dooh !!!!!!!!!!!!

Now have a bruised hand and an egg shape bruise on my arm which got caught underneath it, second U bolt removed with more respect.

New lesson learnt everyday..
