does a body lift improve the handling , as when i go round islands especially in the wet it does slide about a bit :?:

Theoretically at least a body lift should make the handling worse as you are raising the centre of gravity, you still have the main heavy stuff sitting at the lower height like the gearbox, engine and axles but you are increasing the height to weight ratio,.
A body lift other than that has no effect on the suspension.

Fitted a new gearstick plastic bush thingy,

Cleaned all the old broken glass from around the window in preparation for new glass.

Fitted the new trailing arm that I got from Alex (Ta very much again Alex!)

Finally worked out how to seal the Cat to exhaust centre section without the stupid wire mesh gasket coming loose.

Fitted some exhaust wrapping to the manifold and Cat in an attempt to reduce under bonnet temperatures.

Got the new tyre fitted to the rim to replace the one that was skewered in the accident, I now have my spare back. The garage didnt even charge me for it

Started cutting some plastic drainpipe in an attempt to make some wider wheelarches.

Made a new locking wheel nut remover with a grinder and deep 15mm socket as the proper one broke (all 4 studs snapped off). I have successfully removed 3 of the blighters but the 4th and final one still resists all my attempts and one liners.

Set the time on the clock ;-)

well over the weekend i was hoping to do a 2"body lift on the dirty diesel,but intead all ive done is watch the rain,fall on my frontera :cry:

Haven't had to fix anything for awhile (jinxed it now) so just keep on working it, shifted 10 ton of stone onto a woodland track, got well stuck, freed by the winch, got soaked and filthy dirty (me and the truck) and then came home. Got offered £800 for my truck but turned it down, does its job too well

freed off the seized rear brake caliper ready for MOT retest :dance:

Ive fitted new front discs and pads, all went fine but for one stubborn slider, but I beat the git.
It sounds like one disc is rubbing on the mud stone guard on one wheel, so out with the screw driver to bend it back tomorrow.
My brake caliper rewind kit came in handy :dance:
