put the dash back to normal with a stereo in it just need to work out now why drivers door speak has stopped working lol

40 miles so far a little smokey when reving it but then i did put to much oil in it would appear according to the dip stick. that was looking at the dipstick but fin on runs so just burning the excess of now just got to remember what i have not bolted up and do it up as got a random rattle but i think i know what it is a s i am missing an extension bar lol

I ran the lwb on bio and it ran fine. Whren i ran on the veg but was a little sluggish and it put it in limp mode.

I run the 2.8 trooper on bio and it runs fine starts fine wouldnt notice the diffrence except £20 of bio goes alot further than £20 diesel

started it up for the first time in a week or so...sounded a bit different, so had a looky see under bonnet..lost a stud off the bottom of the exhaust manifold, think it's sheared :-(

also noticed one has fallen out of the cylinder head aswell...think that the actual nuts and bolts are making a daring escape plan one at a time (bet they are all hiding in the sump guard)...

it also appears that i've lost a little of the coolant, but i think thats my fault..when i changed the engine, i don't remember doing the sealing ring on the water pump. (my old one was in better condition than the one on the replacement block)..not lost loads but just enough to be a pain..

You going to change that flappy idler as well Dan ... that cannot be helping matters either.

Its all from the seal. It just shredded itself :shock:

And yeah im going to look into replacing the spring part of it with a screw thread type jobby

took it down and and put £15 of gas in and was surprised how nice it feels to see over half a tank, (as been borrowing petrol cars where £15 hardly moves the needle) so loving it as i am taking it extra easy now i have the thing running again lol
