and as promised pic's and little write up. if any one would like me to do a full write up just ask and i will.

so first of all get one winch

then remove nearly all the front of your fronty and sit the winch in it desired location, mine is on top of my recovery bar.
cleck it is in right position and correct way round

then i tacked the winch tray into place.

then get bumper and check fitting and if you need to do any adjustment do so

then offer up your bullbars and see what you need to remove from thoes.
luckly i did know what i needed to remove, and it was only one tube.
so then it is all looking right, remove bullbars and weld the hell out of it. and then refit the bullbars

now all i need is the control box(on order) and then some new rope

Transported the last of the 4 tonnes of brick and rubble sat on my drive. This thing really pulls well with serious weight in it :shock:

had a bit of work to do on Bob the 2.5 today :lol:

2" suspension lift with springs from mark (mgautos)
replaced rear anti roll bar drop link's
replaced the rear diff cover with one from Christine (was new 6 month ago for £10)

replaced top radiator pipe with a new one from VX £10:62

with the 2" suspension lift

Jet washed half a hundred weight of mud off the underneath off my truck, fitted a new recovery point on the rear tow bar for the trip to Strata next month and checked the swr on my CB after repositioning the antenna :thumbup:

Still think the rear brake may be binding on sometimes, may need further fettling :thumbdown:

Almost certainly the caliper WF. Not difficult to refurb and free as long as the rubbers aren't split

Stuck 15 liters of bio diesel in the trooper got to say the 2.8 runs better on the bio than the 2.5 did and it gives better running compared to diesel.

I also fitted battery to the swb trooper and freed of the alternator just got to get it re fitted

WF - some wire wool would be handy. Assuming the main piston rubber isn't ripped, extract the piston from the caliper and polish the piston with the wire wool, also get the wire wool in the piston chamber and carefully remove grit/rust from the ring . Polish caliper slides with wire wool, grease and refit.Refit piston, and Robert's yoru fathers brother :thumbup:

finally fixed the passenger window,it now goes all the way down & up again which is a bonus

Do you want to come over and do mine Foggy ... mine doesn't move at all. That is a bigger challenge.

Wired in my roof spots and will be testing later this evening.

Also, shopping around for a wing mirror at local breakers yards as it was smashed off on friday! AHHHH! Nothing around bristol with frontera's in.....

Decided to go green laning today - on foot!
There's a lane that I've known about which starts literally 65 yards from my front door, but I've never bothered to investigate before :oh yer:

Well as the sun was shining I decided to take a wander up with the dogs to check it out. Turns out it's a bloody cracker!! Can't believe I've never bothered to go up there before :oops:

This is the start of the lane

With some pretty decent drop off's

Major incline all the way up with rocky / mud surface

This was outside the farm on the lane which made me chuckle .... :lol:

And the view from the top isn't bad either

You can just about make out the paragliders in the distance (crappy camera phone)

As usual the camera doesn't do any of it any justice , but I'll be driving this very very soon!
