Testing alternative to photobucket by Sir-Doris on Wed Aug 09, 2017 9:36 pm

As the title says, I want to see if Google photos can support 3rd party image hosting.
Makes sense seeing as I have an android phone and all.
If anyone has any other alternatives let me know.

Well that didn't work. Any suggestions peeps?

Kind of inconvenient as I would have to go back through all my photos over the years and re-link them

I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it!

I have an image hosting service i've been running since 2005, can send you the link if you want?

Would be great if you could.
Some of my old posts are useful to others I'm sure so would be good to be able to keep the pictures in the posts.
It will be slow and take a while to change all the links and remember which photos go where but if they help others I'd be quite happy to slowly go through them.

My thoughts too, as I have posted quite a few "How to's" on the forum which contain lots of photos to help with explanations.

You can always use the forum to host images which save having to upload somewhere then copy links etc.

I've changed max file size to 25mb each does that help?

I have increased image dimensions allowance so hopefully most will work now.
