Wind damage.

This is what the wind blew down today and I sat and watched it on my cctv:-

This huge section of fence just missed my Fronty and a job my caravan wasnt sitting there.

Who else as had wind damage :?:

Seen on the news today, Scotland has a lot of damage due to the high winds..
No doubt its moving down the country :roll:

Well there was that Tornado in Joplin Tornado, USA last night....I think mother nature is angree!

My fennce was the same went out and one panel was over on side of the lwb i ended up just unscrewing it from the post so it didnt pull the fence down . i been out all day working on the fronty and fell into that big hole i had dug cause of wind. the wind blewmy welding mask into it i tried reaching for it an the wind caught me and in i went up to my knees.
Out in the area there is trees blown over or snapped branches over the road

I think the high winds will be moving down south,so batten down the hatches. :lol:

But seriously,you could have been hurt though good job you werent though bud.

I phoned the council straight away after that huge section of fence blew down and they said,that it may take them 30 days to come out to repair it. The company that put it up in the first place didnt use post crete in the post holes before putting the posts in,they just hammered the posts straight into the ground.

Trees along the road from me came down - took the pavement with it. This afternoon a cruise liner was heading down the Clyde on an outward journey - boyoh I bet the passengers will be wishing they stayed at home 'cos the water was looking mighty heavy further out.

Well we have gale force winds here too. Have done since yesterday afternoon. Thankfully no damage to any of my property! ** TOUCH WOOD **

David,it was close. Good job my dog wasnt out at the time,as she wanders down near that part of the fence,as that section of fence would have certainly killed her.

I havnt seen the news today,I hope no one was in that Lexus.

by the look of it any road in scotland is going to be good for off roading by the morning

Drinks,just think Drumclog will have plenty of mud for you all this weekend,after all the rain today. At least when it gets hot here in Scotland we wont have hose pipe bans as usual.
