Roof light which ones do you prefer

Hi all here is a few pics of tonka 2 with both Square Rooflights on and with the Round Rooflights on im not sure which ones to put on yet so i have a poll going to see who likes what so please say why you like your choice thanks Rob and here are the pics

I would go with the square lights,but I would put them on that bar, that you have the round lights on

the round ones look good. Was going to go for squairs when i do mine but think i have changed my mind

Couldnt you put the round ones in between the square ones on the square mounting rail?? Have both.

too much drain on my battery fitting both them

Dont think you need both lots but they do look good. :mrgreen:

I would go with the square ones below the bar as they will take less abuse from the trees than the round ones sticking up to much, esp if doing laning down here in Hampshire and Surrey.

Must admit I voted for square they look less obtrusive and as the previous post says less chance of them being bashed

Assuming the light output is the same then I would go for the square ones, 3 reasons:

1. Roof rack remains usefull cos theres no lights in the way what with them being mounted below the bar.
2. Less likelyhood of them getting damaged by trees etc.
3. The truck'll fit in more multi-story car parks and the Maccy 'D' drive thru...

I still take my truck through the drive through at Maci D's Dont care if it takes out there roof as long as i get me breakfast bagel!!!! :lol:

wheres the option for rectangular shaped lights

looking at both i would go for round :wink:

Square ones personally ... besides having them underslung the cross bar gives them better protection as well ... just ask Hipo why

thank people for all you responses i am gonna leave this running till thursday morning when the choice will be made and the other one put up for sale bu Audra thinks she wants to see them lit :roll:
