im not, only my opinion, but it will make no difference to the price, just a case of burning more fuel of, while driving round slow

I thought these type of protests had been made illegal now ?

Why do people moan about fuel prices !!!!

I spent £7500 last financial year on fuel alone. You dont see me standing waving banners and wasting more fuel.

Get over it, fact of life, we are slowly, or speedily, which ever way you look at it, using up all the earths resources, so obviously something has to be done about it.

And lets face it ..............

When was the last time any one moaned about ..............

330ml can of coca cola ...... 70p+
2 ltrs of Coca Cola ....... £1.80+
1 Ltr milk ..... £1.10 +
1 568ml pint of beer ....... £2.30+
1 250ml glass of wine ...... £2.50+
1 125ml measure of whiskey ...... £2.00 +

1 Ltr of Petrol ..... £1.24, puts it into context really, does'nt it !!!

What Ive noticed is that they are still building a lot of cars that are gas guzzlers. Anyway the airlines have a lot to do with the amount of fuel that gets used, they even call the fuel storage area at Heathrow a ' fuel farm ' :lol:

can you believe that a ' fuel farm ' .....

Simply Fact, Fuel Prices are on the Rise, Cut your use of your Vehicle will reduce your Fuel Costs !!!!

People rant on about Fuel, but even in this day in age, a car is a Privledge, not a nessessity or requirement.

If you take the decision to drive a car, you choose which car you drive, no one else !!!!

No one forces you to drive. IT's YOUR CHOICE.

In taking that choice to drive a car your basically agree to .........

Road Tax,
Insurance,
Fuel,
Maintainence costs.

If you budget or lifestyle does not allow for all of these, then dont drive, SIMPLES !!! :soap box:

People that dont mind the price of fuel,are probably the fools that voted this government in,in the 1st place :lol:

Not if they got spending national spending under control they wouldn't. I live in a backwater town in Wales and the needless waste you see everyday is infuriating. Pointless road construction schemes that don't go where they should, bridge repairs that take the council 2 years to start because they can't decide who to give the contract too, pointless monuments costing a fortune....... the list goes on and on..... So if my one horse town is wasting millions every year , what is everyone else's town/city doing well said boxcleva

The cost and tax on fuel affects everything in this country, that is why we are heading for a double dip recession, what country taxes your fuel then tax the tax on your fuel while taxing the earnings you are using to pay for the fuel while taking a separate tax to legally have the vehicle on the road while taxing the insurance along with the tax that has risen to 20% on parts and labour and again still paying tax on your earnings, even when you are dead.
Best of all they are asking workers not to ask for bigger pay rises to help with the cost of living as it will increase inflation....I could go on :evil:

Within mainland Europe the general standard of living and REAL average wage is more in line with the cost of living, we are just getting shafted left right and up the backside, some may like it but I dont :wink:

the only way you will get any attention from the gov, is not use your car for a month, and use public transport, just the buses and trains, but the whole country would have to do it, i know Liverpool would not be able to cope with that level of people trying to use the services, there you can not get to work as there was no room on the bus or the train, or you get in late,
