Insurance renewal....

Just had my renewal notice through and its gone up from £337 tpft to £568... :shock:

So I though sod that, they must be having a laugh so I went to our friend Frank Pickles. I got fully comp cover for £205

Result :dance:

Just got the road tax and MOT at the end of Jan to contend with now.....

What ins co had you been with Krusher, my family car ins has just jumped into the £500 bracket too, from the high £300's.

Ive been doing comparison insurance quote's for my fronty and the cheapest I got was £459 for fully comp and the dearest quote that I got was................................£9974 for fully comp and I dont have any points and convictions and I passed my test in 1991 and my fully comp insurance last year was £321 with the co-op. :evil:

My dad says the price of insurance is due to the boy racers and I reckon he is right. :lol:

I've got two weeks to get quotes as am not best please with this years fee. Between vat increase, fuel duty increase and now insurance taking a loan of us will have to reconsider motoring choices.

i think the rise in car insurance is probably due to last & this winters weather conditions, someones got to pay for all the crash claims

im paying £480 fully comp that with 5 years ncb no points etc mine aint due till may but will shop around

From memory Fp will only offer insurance to modded trucks

My Mrs insurance went up £150 this year as some one hit HER last year, the excuse was "A person who was in a road traffic incident regardless of who was at fault is likely to be involved in another incident within 12 months" and most insurers go with this BS now :roll:

Right Frank Pickles only insures modified cars, so bigger tyres, suspension lift, body lift, snorkel, extra lights ect all count, best to have two or three mods, you also get a discount for being a FOG member.

Remember though they do not take into consideration any NCD or give NCD, as they expect your car to be your second car, officially :wink:

, you can also save money with them by limiting your mileage :wink:

Mine was £160 fully comp, with a Liverpool postcode
