I voted to give other places a chance.

I would have voted Bala All The Way (Yes I did just type that, and I know what I said last year!

). But as well as the place, I think it also comes down to the cost of the event as well. So if we could find somewhere as good and as big as Bala, which would be slightly cheaper, that would be good.

Depending on numbers somewhere like Hollymoorside would be good. Last time we hired that place we charged £20 for the weekend, and took enough that a couple of hundred ended up going to charity

It'd take those sort of numbers, aslong as it's not 35 caravans

Make that 4 more, if it ends up somewhere near home then I'll be there with mine too

well over the next few months, i will be visiting a few sites, and be asking a few people to join me, i will pay of course,

also be asking people to give me a review of a site, IE: pics and reports on camping size of fields, will they supply toilets, and price

I'm not finished in the woods yet. The site does miss some extreme drops, but has some great technical content. So for off roading I vote Balla.

As for the company and place, I'm happy to drive, as long as the place is worth it.

Bala feels like home. I n#know its the people that make the meet and would be very happy to go anywhere with you lot but still have a big affection for Bala

somewhere else would be nice

was a bit miffed at bala this year, not due to breaking truck, but more of the amount of sheep poo on the field,

A much as I enjoyed Bala 09 and 2010 I think it may go abit stale going again, so I reckon lets give somewhere else a go.... :wink:

I voted for Bala as its great value for money and there's lots for people to do. There's still bits i have'nt done yet. As for Holymoreside been there twice for Brachunky and after half a day you have done it all Not a great deal of room for camping iether.

Personally I don't really mind where it is. for me the weekend was more about meeting up with people putting faces to usernames along with some great banter company and the odd drink. So where ever it is going to be, as long as there is a laning day aswell then i'm a happy bunny...

plus if it's held somewhere else then the Bala best fronty trophy will have to be replaced with a new un....guess I'll have to keep it til the next Bala annual meeting :wink:

I'm with Andy as far as the sheep poo is concerned....not nice when you get up in the middle of the night wanting a wee, half cut and the first thing you know there is the feeling of doo doo squeezing up between your toes....then the polava of trying to find wipes etc to clean your tootsies before getting into you pit.
