£20 of petrol hardly moves the needle!

I stuck £20 of unleaded in my 2.0L Sports yesterday and the needle hardly moved, is this normal?

it holds 80lts of fuel & £20 buys about 18 lts so it should take you off the red :drink:

If it was empty then aye thats right if i stick £20 im still in the red but the light goes out if you stick another £20 in it solves the problem i find :lol:

In my B series sport i can be on 1/4 tank put £20 in and it shoots back up to over half a tank :shock:

just hijack a petrol truck...................job done

The fuel is 119 here an stuck in £30 to get quarter off a tank

i buy by the litre,always buy 20 litres then i dont feel short changed ,and i know its 1/4 full.

B series SWB has 60 litre tank.

they not too bad on fuel if you take it easy an dont boot them about the place cause there is no point you just make more noise. i run mine to the point of oh my god will i make on fuel i reckon i average 26mpg but i live in traffic light city with loads of hills glasgow s.e

I've got a cherokee standing 2 years with a full tank coz the engine blew up. Ignoring the probable degredation in quality of the fuel, it must be worth more than the scrap value!

It's diesel which I believe absorbs water. can it be resurrected?
