Oh well it looks like our stay in Rosehearty is coming to an end as we have just put the house on the market :shock:

Yep were selling up and moving south again :shock:

Were giving up one of the biggest fish ponds you could ever imagine in your back garden
roads where you can travel miles without seeing anyone, fresh air, the constant changing landscape and seascape the peace and quiet the bloody North wind that freezes you to the bone as your bent over your fronty wondering why the eml keeps coming on :shock:

YEP were giving all that up and moving back to....................................................

Still there is one good thing about moving back down to Burnley there are more green lanes and a hell of a lot nearer to all the meets :dance:

so that’s one good thing as for the increase in car insurance etc well I’ll just have to put up with it

For that money you could buy a wee farm.
What are your Qualifications? Are you a plumber or a carpenter? There's bings of work over here.
Just getting a quote takes six months and then you have to sign it so you can't go to someone else. AND, if you are not savvy enough to put an end date to the work, they then tell you "We'll be round in a year or two."
Fortunately for all the british craftsmen who have moved over here the Polish haven't learnt French.........................yet.
Plus there is the new "Auto Entrepreneur" scheme........It means self employed but that is a radical new concept for the French as they have spent years using the old Guilds way of doing things so you couldn't do any of this unless you were prepared to fling a sheepskin over your shoulder and roll one trouser leg up.
Finally someone in power in Paris realised he couldn't get a plumber so the rules were changed.
I know it all sounds mad, including my post about French Admin, but I haven't seen a kid in a hood for ages and the last robbery we had round here was someone nicked a few bulbs off the tre up the village at christmas last year. Oh and Fredo got his car stereo nicked last week but his car was parked up the road by the cemetry and it was a cassette one at that.

The main reason for moving back to Burnley is for my son just over a year ago he was diagnosed with Aspergers syndrome for those that don't know well it's a form of Autism

In Aarons case he IS highly intelligent but has very few social skill's :shock:

and by intelligent I could only wish to have a tenth of his intelligence and I'm a qualified nurse with a string of letters after my name :lol:

Yes it is a lovely area that we live in, but it's the good old thing of services or should we say lack of them :evil:

As it is, he is seven years old and reading books that a high school child would struggle with :shock:

and can write a script of Dr who meets, Prime evil meets, Star wars that has all the punctuation in and over a thousand words oh and he did it in less then an hour and to top it off the School that he is at (main stream) are struggling to keep up with his needs :shock:

I knew there was something with him when I caught him reading one of my nursing books about the endocrine system worst of all he understood it more than what I did

Also with it being a very small fishing village there’s the good old thing of "how can we say" people not understanding his needs

along with all that all his family are down there so where as if we need a baby sitter it takes a lot to tell him what is happening etc. but when we are down there instant baby sitters :dance:

But I know we all call the services in England but compared to where we are they are a lot more advanced in Aarons favour hence the move

Well the kiddy will benefit from the family and so will you and the Mrs, but I bet you find a place to retire to like that when the time comes :wink:

Oh what hospital are you heading for to work?

our son same age and got the got the same diagnosis still un confirmed but it suspected we new from when he was ababy that he was bit different we had to remove him this year from school as he could not cope in a class since he started but the education blamed parenting and they segragted him last year when he started primary two without our agreement from the rest from the school to a room with two support teacher that were not qualified for 4 hours a week so we pulled him out of school and are kicking up a stink. We have considered the same about moving but we gonna push them to get him a full time placement that suits his need. He is livley kid bright above average but lacks social skill, sense of danger and can be his own worst enemy. And we find it hard for people to see it or understand an sometimes we do too.

As it stands it will probably be Blackburn, Preston area either that or do agency, more money but less stability

still with a bit of luck we will be mortgage free so that’s one thing

hope Aaron settles quickly, I'm sure his social skills will come on in leaps and bounds in a busier, more varied place, such a shame that the little village where you live is not very understanding, but you never know what opportunities are waiting for him just round the corner :wink:

i will look the early bird plus up. He seen a phycologist through c.h.a.m.s but its a long proccess. i figured out his wee code few years back but no one would listen we learned how to sort of word things and understand the way he thinks and his pattern but the school and members of the family thought they new better than us.
He walks on his tip toes unless we say stop
maths his talent god i wish it was mine see if i can get him to figure out the lottery and pass the formula on :wink:
