I went there the other day after a tool kit in the that days paper armed with a friends trade card:-

"To get trade price you have to discount full retail price sir so you you get a better deal not using your trade card on this one sir"

Now i remember why i thrown mine in the bin and not been in there for years, but did still buy the kit which was not great but it's for in the boot hoping i'll never need it

Was looking at the exact same thing myself.

If you use your trade card it brings it down to £94. Not a huge saving, but a saving all the same......

Looks like it should have an ice maker!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

All joking aside...old fridge freezers make blinding toolboxes for in the garage...and are free....leaving you to spend your hard earned pounds on the tools that do the fixing, sooner than on something to keep em in!

Up the workshop I have a 1950's kelvinator that is a tool box for all my painting/airbrush gear...and filing cabinets for powertool/airtool storage...

I have used upright fridge freezers loads of times and they offer a great free storage solution...the door bins are great for cans of wd40, primer etc, tools can be laid out nicely on the shelves...the freezer drawers are great for bulk storage of wetndry and lighter tools...
You can even disconnect the compressor so the light still works...

Ya mates might think ya mad...but what the hell...they wont when they realise you bought the £400 tool that they they need yet they couldnt afford as they bought a toolbox instead!

Just a thought...in this day and age when recycling is paramount in our culture...what better way to do it...and save a bundle of cash in the process...

(and yes I did have an old dishwasher with the heater and waste pump disconnected as a parts washer for a while!!!)
