The PITS at Bala

Whilst we are all at Bala for what is going to be a GREAT weekend :dance:

I was wondering what sort of jobs could get done
on our trucks whilst the help and know how would be there. I was thinking of the coil spacers and the torsion wind up, would that be possible or
would it be too big a job for that environment??

I know a little fettling will be going on, only simple stuff as we cant be replacing engines and fitting clutches :lol:

If there is level ground I see no reason why a few torsion bars cant be tweaked just bring the 27mm socket and the breaker bar :lol:

I can't recall the being any hard standing, but I dare say running repairs will be attempted.

You have the fluid, it shouldnt be a problem.

i mean the cylinder itself mate hopefully will have one by then but i presume it wil need bleeding??

Yes it will, but remember we are all there to enjoy ourselves and have offroad fun to, so simple quick jobs :wink:

i know mate it doesn't look too tough to do bolts on bulkhead pipes then pedal that should be it

While i'm helping Trugga to set up the RTV course in weaves tractor, all 3 of you can change my clutch

DONT leave your car alone with spanners next to it, you will see your bits regularly whizzing around Bala on other cars :lol:

And bring a compressor with a tyre inflator.... :twisted:

Its also a case of what tools are going to be there. To do some of the more fun jobs you need big, heavy and valuable bits of kit. I like to travel light on weekends as theres enough camping kit to go along with recovery kit. If someones got the kit and effort there will be plenty of experience to hand :wink:

I will be taking the emergency tool kit, but I will bring the OP-Com for Diagnostics and fault code removal airbag reset etc

Get a 2.8 and you dont have an ecu, silly fun bags etc, just a lump :dance:
