Got this set from Aldi at the weekend £15 what a bargain, especially good for doing all the wiring jobs on the truck.

Our super light weight, super small, digital stick welder was locked in a boot. I needed to put one run down one inch long, so for the sake of a new lock I got an Aldi welder.
Sat there at JCB infront of the tv camera's, (gmtv) everyone watching and the bloody thing didnt have a plug.
Sorted plug and my extension blew...
Sorted that and the handle was bost, in the box
Nobody came near me for an hour, someone magicked another set up and it was done.
I'm sure it was just one busted, I just happened to get it. It went in a bin and I left in a storm cloud...

Confusion caused by lack of correct terminology,what s being desxribed here is correctly called Manual Metallic Arc,which should be refered to as MMA but is more normally known as arc & more recently stick.
