Who, if any of us foggers, use a steering wheel knob? Im not sure if it would be of benefit or not whilst laning or p&ping ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif) I would think that you may have better control over the wheel when bouncing around on rough terrain.

I have a knob (steering that is) but have never used it off-road although I've been told there the best thing to have in muddy conditions, as its easier to move the wheel from lock to lock

Its not the size of your engine....its how you use it that counts !

I have one and find it really useful, either on or off road.

i use to hate them if i drove someone's else's truck and if i knew i was going to have all week i use to take it off while i had it
but when i had an carpal tunnel operation on my left hand
i could not reverse using my left hand gripping the wheel as it hurt the palm and wrist area were i had stitch's
so i got a knob and put it at the 1 o'clock mark and gripped it with my fingers and top of palm when reversing
after that i thought the were the best thing since sliced bread
i would fit one to my fronty if i were to do a lot of offroading
as it would save injury to your thumb if wheel kicked back
as most people grip wheel with thumb under wheel just below the crossbar which is wrong when off roading
