Selling TV review fronty 2.2 DTi Limited

Postby pauleilio on Thu Nov 14, 2019 6:45 pm

Hi Everyone,

Haven't posted in a long time due to new job taking over my life :(

The Frontera now needs to go and just offering it on here as it is a bit special. She still starts and runs fine. The clucth is a bit at the end of it's life now and recently the trailing arm bracket had snapped but has since been repaired. The leather interior is fine but there are a few small bits of corrosion on the body that need sorting out and the paint on the roof and bonnet is cracked. Anybody that wishes to take this on must be aware, it's not in new condition but has served me well for 9 years. It still has the bluetooth locking and trip computer mod. 3 new tyres, new battery, shock absorber. Side steps are still on it.

This is the car in a TV review which makes it special and would like to see it go to a good home.

Still plenty of MOT and can be driven away.

Any offers considered.

Thank you everone for looking,

Frontera is being driven to Scrap on Tuesday, has to said, one of the better cars I have owned and will probably get a V6 one again if I am lucky enough to find a good one.

If it still has an MOT why are you scrapping it? How bad is the clutch and what else needs doing? What are you looking for it?

The clutch will slip a little if you floor it in high gear but been like that for over a year now. Doesn't slip when taking off in 1st or 2nd. The Trailing arm bracket snapped when I was parking but has since been welded back. Paint on the roof and bonnet needs looking at but other than that it is fine. EML will come on sometimes at tickover but goes off when accelerating.

I only want a few hundred for it,

Seems a shame to scrap it if that's all that's wrong with it. Where are you?

Yes a bit too far to come unfortunately. Shame.

I've done that journey many times and it is all day long, not recommended.
