2003 2.2 petrol power increase

hi, having had fronteras of every type over the last 15 years (v6 auto my favorite) i now have one just for a second car as i just love them!,,,i run a santa fe 2.2 diesel daily and covered 230k untroubled smooth miles regularly towing 2.5tons!!, its a fantastic car but a weekends i run my frontera, the only problem it feels so slow after the santa fe, is there any kit/procedure that anyone has succesfully got more power out of the 2.2. petrol unit without blowing it up?

If it's just your weekend/low mileage car, why not go back to a 3.2 v6. Not sure how tunable the 2.2 is.

i was thinking of that, but i cant find a black auto 3.2 sport late model, i have been looking for 12 months!

Plenty you can do it is more of a question of if you should!
