well your fronty shoudnt need much.. and you know i would be happy to weld it up. shouldnt take too long (few hours max)
so i would have a crack at yours. get a ticket on it and then see what is wrong with the disco..

To be honest mate I would keep the disco because of the money you have already spent on it. ( you won't get that money back if you sell it )
Now we have sorted the springs at the front take the front propshaft off to see if that makes any difference to the transmission. I still think you need a wide angle front propshaft.
We could still do a couple of spanner party's to sort out your frontera.

EDIT by the way I drove the green one today and the clutch is still really light. Once I've done the timing belt and tensioner you can borrow the green one for a couple of days to see how you feel about it before you make the decision on fixing yours.

with the stage your at and the money youve spent id keep the disco and use it as a daily driver/laning and could always get the fronty sorted if you fancied a toy.

My thinking too Stretch....

Keep the disco, get the shorty sorted over time (when its warmer and nice to be outside!)....then re-evaluate when the shorty is all done.

You shouldn't need wide yoke props on a 2" lifted Disco

Your right you shouldn't need a wide prop BUT after we sorted the lift out the uj on the front prop to the transfer end looks like it's sitting at the wrong angle on flat ground.
