2014 Project Plans - Non Fronty or Car Related

So what do we have planned for the new year that doesn't involve spannering around a car?

So far I have

Get driveway finished and add gates.
Put up new man cave
Remove and refit new bathroom
CAT6 runs
Reinsulate and board the loft.
Anything else SWMBO comes up with in the mean time!

New patio
New man sized shed
Floor the loft
Finish building dads house :shock:

only started 5 years ago :roll:

Hoping to start building my house in sunny kent! And as much spannering i can
Get my mates garage up
Poss put a garage on my future front garden hmmm tight but worth it

Any cheap materials local to rochester kent... :wink:

get a raise at work.

put a different rear axle on the fronty, disc brakes here i come
and double transfer box.
mod the rear sus to give more flex..
and design and make the front flex more.

getting back to full health, having my shiny brand new hip fitted very soon, possibly take an sia course and get back into work, replace double glazing, get the decorating finished, insulate loft and get boarded out, oh and get downstairs loo finished, still no door.

Finishing the down stairs loo might be a handy one before you turn into a terminator mate :wink:

looks like a few people need to do their loft floors.

Not much really...

Got an on-suite to finish and Bedroom to decorate.
The 'Boss' has indicated that the Carpets would look better if they became a polished wood floor..... throughout the house, and it seems that laminate is not an option :shock:

Toying with dropping the wooden shed and replacing with a brick one, just trying to persude one of the PM's at work (ex bricky) that he needs to keep his hand in laying bricks.... :wink:

Finally get round to sorting out an IEng.

Oh and then theres work... Busy year ahead it seems.

Yep, got the customary indoors 'to do list'.
Shower room to refit - ripped to old one out last October, got the new tray in and had it replastered back in November/early December. Original shower leaks/damp ingress took their toll on the old plaster and blew the bonding in a few places so quite a lot of new bonding and complete top plaster required. Without force drying with humidifiers and heaters, took virtually a month for the new plaster and bonding to dry out.
Happy days because the enemy didn't want any mess during the Chrimbo break which allowed a bit of playing time, but that won't last and I'll have to get it going again.
Anyhow, what do you reckon on doing a time check this post and report back when jobs actually get finished. Prize for the longest

I've got to carry on with my gorgeous 80's speedboat project. Engine is running pretty much and sorting out the trim and tilt tabs now. Then its onto complete hull rub down and buff and new interior throughout.

Also got to move into our new workshop in two weeks.

Christ where do I start.

Garden landscaped
Relay caravan standing
Outdoor bar and lounge area ready for the world cup
Floor the loft
Redo downstairs poo room
