Renault Clio DCI service

As I have services all our cars for years I aint a clue about main dealer prices but as her Clio is still under warranty it needs a service (18000 miles that's 12000 miles in six months :roll:

) so its due, now Renault want £159 for a full service :sick:

would that be about right?
A quick google tells me some independent garages charge more :shock:

If its a 1.5dci maybe however, phone up and check what's included in a full service :wink:

Some main dealers class a full service as a oil, oil filter, and air filter change. Then fuel filters coolant etc... Are add ons :wink:

It is the 1.5dci, its the full hit apparently all inclusive.

159 is about right for oil/filter change and minor check wheels on etc

but as colley said you will likely find that other filters arent and its a basic service. at 18k id want and recomend fuel filter and air filter done

autodata says its a 1.3hour job with an extra .3 for fuel filter but no mention of air filter on the sheet

Thanks guys, if it didnt still have about a years warranty left I would do it myself grrrr, seems I may just do the extras myself :wink:

Thats why I always tended to buy 3 or 4 year old cars :oh yer:

they have your pants down with the warranty
