I was bidding on a 3.2 V6 at the weekend and won the auction!! However when I contacted the seller they told me that the car had mysteriously been stolen...Though it wouldn't have been driven away as the car had a gearbox fault!!! How convenient....What an  So if you see this advertised.. It's been stolen and its mine

Yes, it appears so. However, I did get a refund so will forget it. Though I would have been surprised if I did manage to collect it for that money.. I did ask the seller after receiving the first email stating that it didn't sell for as much as they expected, how much they were looking for..?
Shortly after I got another email saying it was stolen, so didn't get an answer anyway.
I am sure it will turn up again.. maybe with at least a reserve or a reasonable starting price next time!
