A glow of satisfaction!

Had a brake pipe break off whilst driving round the village . Brakes had been spongy and hard at the same time. Thought I would book it in for a check and whilst I was looking out the window I could see fluid Yellow watering out! Rang my mechanic he got me in despite the notice and organised a recovery vehicle. Helps I have been going to him for sixteen years and I taught his niece! I had been meaning to start work on vacuum pipes including the b-----d behind the head so I thought I would get them done whilst it was in and have the egr cleaned.

He worked until 10pm and then finished it by lunchtime the next day. Now its back. A brake pipe had sheered on the drivers side rear. Fixed! Performance however-what a difference! Three vac pipes including the one on the back of the head, the front axle reservoir, and another in the engine bay had gone.

The glow of satisfaction comes from the brakes going safely in the village not on the motorway-the wonderful service from Frank and the fact the beast now goes like 's... off a shovel' !!!
