Need help deciding!

I'm after another shorty, and have found two within budget I like. One is a 3.1 Mu, the other a 2.8 front. Both have similer milage, similer spec and history etc. heard good and bad about both lumps. So now can't decide. The mu does have plenty of 'bling' on it tho so rekon I could make a few quid back on these bits as not my taste!!

I'd probably have the MU as well, although more for the rarity value. That and the 3.1 engine is more powerful than the 2.8

Also, consider suspension arrangements - while not necessarily a bad thing, the Fronty will be on coils on the back axle, which will give it the edge in articulation over the MU's leaf springs.
Greg has shown time and again at the woods that articulation isn't the be all and end all, but does require a slightly different approach to keep your wheels driving.

After doing some ins quotes the Mu has been ruled out. Due to being an import ins companies believe they have the right to charge well over double that of a 2.8 etc. shame as it seamed a nice truck.

Insurance company's will find any excuse to screw you :evil:
