Airbag light on in my megane III was just wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction with my megane 2 on a 54 plate. The airbag warning light is staying on and i think the problem is the squib but before i change that i want to do some further test. The diagnostic kit points the problem towards the drivers seat cct's. What i would like to do is test the resistances of the seat belt pretensioners and the resistance of the seat position sensor and was wondering are there any easily accessible test points. I have checked the connectors and they seem fine. Cheers in advance Alan.

Re: Airbag light on in my megane IIBe very very careful....messing with a meter on airbag circuits could possibly set them off...
Check out the index thread below where pics/reviews from all our past meets can be found!!!!
click here for the SE Events Index/links Thread...see all the reviews and whats coming up soon! Looks like I'm in trouble with the Mrs's again... She asked me what I'd most like to do to her body... Apparently "Identify it" is not the correct answer! MAKE IT or BREAK IT! TEAMXTREME4X4 ![]()
Re: Airbag light on in my megane IIYep your right there Greg but the cct's will be deactivated first, battery disconnected left for 30 mins or so and then steering wheel airbag will be removed. Unfortuately the Bosch KTS200 that i can use does not have the function to test the resistance of those cct's according to Bosch.
