Finaly got round to selling my apple green '97 Sport S. Haven't been able to drive it any distance all year due to dodgy knee & finaly resigned myself to saying goodbye.
Wife's near to tears, & I'm missing it already. Have owned it 13 years (from 2 years old) & its been a gem. I've driven 78K in it (mostly towing a caravan) with only one breakdown: a leaking rubber fuel pipe. Though it did have a noisy bearing in the gear box, but that didn't actualy leave me stranded. I don't usualy get attatched to cars but this one has earned its keep despite all the flack I've had from LR etc. owners (but not those I've towed out of trouble though LOL).
Only hope its replacement (an auto Nissan Terrano) is as reliable!
Now have a shed full of spares which I will list on here as soon as I can sort through them.
The end of an era.............

Without being too patronising I can honestly say this site beats them all.

And im sure you will be welcome on it whatever you drive mate :thumbup:

I also tend to get attached to these little beast's there's something about them I guess :drive:

mind you I quite like Nissans, I had a patrol when I worked in the Libyan desert back in the eighties and it was brilliant, better than the green ovals we had, which fell apart
