109p ltr for bio

Well i have used bio in the trooper 2.8 and it seem to like it more than the 2.5 fronty , When i bought it i filled it with bio @85p and did 255 miles trip home now using the usual bloke @1.09p and running about the four corners of glasgow it starting on the coldest morning first thing and runs fine.

well today i went down to get bio fuel and the price now says 119p i asked when they increased she said 1st of febuary and the signs been up i cry foul i do not remember the sign been there ok im still saving money but not much wonder if these can run on veg

i went and filled up the tank today at 124.9 a litre i was talking to fella at the garage he was saying the government are going to increase the duty on bio fuel by 20p a litre to bring it in line with diesel :thumbdown:

so it will no longer by worth using bio..

aye i read something about that its a joke

That would be the death of bio as you get more miles from dino so if they are near the same price its a no brainer :oh yer:

thats proberly the idea He is profitering as they say there is no need for him to be charging that much other than greed alot of the smaller guys have been shopped to the hmrc so its him or 145pl. I had consider the veg oilbut i dont fancy doing an engine strip clean and rebuild every what ever miles to clear the gummy stuff and at his prices the bio is hardly worth the risk on my fuel system unless i can upgraded the pump seals

Problem with a back street guy is you cant be sure of the quality

the guy i got bio diesel when i bought the 2.8 to bring it home is better than the commercial guy to be honest just cause he doesnt sell commercial or does seel commercial doesn always mean good or bad quality . Look at the over 50 plan mr parkison advertises was showing to be a con yet they are the biggest sellers

I did the same with my previous guy. Backstreet, but I could stand there and watch him produce it from scratch.

Well my local legit guy is now wanting 125pl i stopped using him as i can get it alot cheaper else where for 80pl. i have been running the 2.8 bighorn on bio since i got it and its doing well. He is just gettting greed at 125pl and it isnt worth it

Dino is only £1.36 here now, I say only but its still a rip off.

yeah the price of oil is at $90 a barrel
